Have you ever heard of Durian Belanda or even seen this fruit before? Hey..it’s hardly Durian that infamous king of fruit. Don’t be confused! It’s not smelly at all and the seed is black while the flesh is pure white. Just FYI, the sign on the picture above says: “Don’t touch”

This fruit is also known as Soursop. I love everything to be with ‘sour’ nowadays so this one is definitely will be in my book for a long time to see! Teehee..^^
My verdict: On the taste, as a drink it is simply refreshing. I don’t know whether it’s related to Malaysia being a tropical country or not, I found that we have a lot of sour fruits. Maybe because the citrusy taste of the fruit will relieve the heat?
It’s very rare to find a home in Malaysia growing Durian Belanda or Soursop. If I remember it right, I have never seen the tree in my life ever except the fruit.
Have you seen one?
