Roti Tisu

I really really love this dish. You might recognize the shape at any of the ‘mamak’ restaurant or 24/7 (opened 24 hours a day in 7 days a week) Indian restaurants but I have never come across one with colorful and flavored liquid on top.

‘Roti’ means bread.
‘Tisu’ means tissue

My verdict? After trying this, I guess the colorful and flavored liquid consist of sugar and sweetened milk. It seems pleasing in me eye and the taste, almost the same as the rest of the ‘roti’ menu in the restaurant. Only that it is crispier and lighter.

The price? Ranging from MYR2.50 to 3.50 depending on how posh the restaurant is.

How to eat it? It is best eaten using hands. Don’t forget to wash your hands before eating. You could dip it with the sauce like curry or lentils but myself, I love eating it on its own. I like it natural.

How to make it? Feeling a bit adventurous and want to make it yourself. Hmm..I doubt it as only one with skilled hands will be able to. I’d rather buy. Easy. ^^

Check out this video by FollowMeFoodie if you insist on making it. What do you think? Is it easy or what?
