The idea of 1Malaysia as motioned by Malaysia’s current Prime Minister; Najib Tun Razak is to pinpoint at country’s unity. Unity which has become an envy of others especially when Malaysia was established from a few different and unique races and cultures.

As the independence day will be just around the corner on 31st August 2009 which marked the Malaysia’s 52nd birthday; a contest of 1Malaysia songs has been announced to search that ‘ONE’ song which will symbolize Malaysia’s unity.

There are 10 top contestants up for votes. They are:
